My name is Charles Robinson. I am now retired after working over 30 years in the natural resource and environmental fields. My career has provided me the opportunity to live and work throughout Oregon and Washington. My wife, Delma, and I now make our home in Eastern Washington in the small town of Prosser. Prosser is located on the dry side of the state in the rain shadow of the beautiful Cascade Mountain Range. Delma and I have three grown children and two grandchildren.
I was raised in Chillicothe in Southern Ohio. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Botany from Miami University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Management from Oregon State University. I served for three years in the United State Army, including one year in Vietnam from November 1967 until November 1968. During that time I served as an Operations and Intelligence Assistant in the Battalion Fire Direction Center for a 175 mm howitzer battalion. I was stationed at Camp Carroll near the DMZ in what was then South Vietnam.
After I retired, we had the opportunity to drive across the United States back to my home in Southern Ohio. We traveled through Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, and places in between, and experienced many of the beautiful landscapes and natural wonders along the way. In following my dream and my love of landscape photography, I was able to capture color photographs of the beautiful and sometimes simply awe-inspiring landscapes through which we traveled. I would like to share some of my favorite photographs with you. Thank you for visiting My World..
